Section 1. Graduate studies - the Master's degree at USI.
Since autumn 2004, in accordance with the European standards of the Bologna Declaration, Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) has offered high-quality graduate education through its Master's programmes.
Graduate programmes provide high specialization both in terms of professional training and of academic research. Top-level faculty of international renown teach innovative courses with a strong multi-disciplinary orientation and in collaboration with prestigious institutions at local and international levels.
The multi-lingual and international dimension of the University is conspicuous, with students and faculty hailing from over 30 different nations and with courses taught in Italian and English. USI's friendly, familiar environment encourages contacts among students, researchers and faculty members, allowing for an enhanced, more personalized teaching.
