Joint PhD thesis supervision is a particular arrangement in which a doctoral student conducts research under the joint responsibility of two thesis supervisors: one at the University of Lugano, the second in a partner academic institution. In particular, agreements for joint supervision may easily be signed with French and Italian universities.
