She graduated in Psychology from the University of Bucharest (1992-1997) and earned her MSc in Communication and Economics (Corporate Communication) from the University of Lugano (2004-2006, winner of Network USImpresa Scholarship for the best student of the class 2004/2005).
She has worked as Public Relations counsellor in public administration in Romania since 1998, and followed internships in similar PR departments in France and Switzerland. She also lectured as vocational counsellor in a Romanian project for the integration of women on the labour market (2004), and and was part of the team-project "Employment Branding at BSI-Banca della Svizzera italiana" (2006).
Currently, she is a Teaching and Research Assistant at the Institute of Linguistics and Semiotics of USI Lugano (Università della Svizzera italiana) and a student member of the Doctoral School "Argupolis - Argumentation Practices in Context."
Her main research interest is represented by intercultural communication and persuasion, in particular the integration of the theory of argumentation and the psychological theories of attitude formation and change.
