Natalia Tretyakevich, having recently obtained a degree of Master of Art in Economics and Communication, Major in International Tourism, at the University of Lugano, Switzerland, is proceeding now with her studies having recently started PhD program in Economics within the framework of the same university. At the moment she works as a research assistant at Institute of Economic Research and does her PhD in Economics with specialization in Tourism. Her study interests lie in the sphere of Travel and Tourism with a focus on Business Travel. The research which has been already undertaken by the student covers such issues as Interaction between business travel and leisure tourism; Business travel modeling and Leisure related motivations of conference attendees. Moreover, she is involved in tourism projects conducted for local tourism authorities of canton Ticino, Switzerland, analyzing tourism flows statistics and taking part in Tourism Observatory.
