Biography

Silvia Riva has obtained a Doctor Europaeus at the Faculty of Psychology, Catholic University of Sacred Heart, Milan (Italy) in collaboration with the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, Centre of Adaptive Behavior and Cognition (ABC), Berlin (Germany). Currently, she is a Post-doc Researcher at the Institute of Communication and Health, Faculty of Communication (ICH), University of Lugano (Swiss). Her research interests lie in the fields of risk perception and communication, and patient participation in medical decision making.
