The project evaluates the health and economic consequences of the new smoking ban in public buildings in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. The project involves panel studies on shopkeepers and employees (both smokers and non smokers). Opinions before and after the smoking ban will be compared. The research aims to identify main changes in smoking behaviour and attitute towards the ban.
