Undergraduate studies at USI - Università della Svizzera italiana
Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) offers four undergraduate programmes - both multidisciplinary and specialized - over three years, in accordance with international standards. USI's friendly and familiar environment offers multiple opportunities for informal dialogue with top-level teachers of different faculties and students, ensuring a high-quality education.
The main language of instruction is Italian, with the exception of the Bachelor in Informatics, with courses taught in English.
Bachelor in Architecture
The Academy of Architecture offers a Bachelor fully equivalent to a Master of Arts in Architecture, combining theoretical foundations with practical training in architecture studios, companies or institutions.
Bachelor programme in Communication Sciences
The undergraduate programme in Communication Sciences delivers broad theoretical and methodological knowledge in a multilingual, multicultural and interdisciplinary framework. The Faculty offers well-focused specializations in the following areas:
- New Media and Mass Communication
- Corporate Communication
- Public Communication
Bachelor programme in Economics
The Economics programme combines scientific rigor with an eminently academic orientation. After the first two years, students specialize in one of the following areas:
- Economics
- Business and Management
- Finance
Bachelor programme in Informatics
The undergraduate programme in Informatics is project-based; it comprises six semesters of highly-integrated courses and team-oriented projects, all taught in English.
The faculty offers two specialisations:
- Bachelor in Informatics
- Bachelor in Applied Mathematics and Computational Science
