![]() | ArchitectureThe Academy of Architecture - Università della Svizzera italiana - offers the possibility of completing doctoral studies leading to a degree of Doctor in Architecture (DrArch), Doctor of Technical Sciences (DrScTec) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). The studies are structured in the traditional form that requires an independent research under the supervision of a professor of the Academy. In general, no doctoral courses are foreseen. Students are required to attend seminars in Advanced Microeconomics, Advanced Macroeconomics and Advanced Monetary Economics. The PhD thesis, written under the supervision of a faculty member, is meant to prove the candidate’s significant and ground-breaking contribution to knowledge in the chosen research field. |

The programme includes advanced studies into the foundations of communication sciences, training in research methods, and individual research work under the supervision of a faculty member. |
