Executive Education at the UniversitÓ della Svizzera italiana
The Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) currently runs seven Executive Master programmes in highly relevant professional fields. Taught by top-quality faculty and designed to meet the needs of experienced professionals in an increasingly global society, the Masters are specialised and international. Executive Master in Healthcare Economics and Management (Net-MEGS)
As part of the Swiss School of Public Health (SSPH+) network, along with other five Swiss universities, this programme aims at developing scientific, managerial and professional skills of people responsible for public health. Courses are taught in Italian.
Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA)
The Executive Master in Business Administration is a modular, advanced master in management degree, taught in English, by exceptional international faculty at USI. Participants meet once a month in Lugano for four days, from Thursday to Sunday, over a period of fifteen months, except during August.
The program's flexible format allows managers and executives to complete all the courses while working full time.
The degree ends with the opportunity for participants to apply their new knowledge and skills, under the guidance of a professor, they carry out a three-month-long keystone consulting project.
Master of Advanced Studies in Humanitarian Logistics and Management (MASHLM)
The Master of Advanced Studies in Humanitarian Logistics and Management is a post-graduate course of study for professionals interested in the Humanitarian sector. Courses will be hosted by the Università della Svizzera italiana and will be conducted in English over a maximum of 18 months. An international team of professors from institutions around the world will ensure the academic excellence of the programme and its international orientation.
Master of Advanced Studies in Humanitarian Operations and Supply Chain Management (MASHOM)
The Master of Advanced Studies in Humanitarian Operations and Supply Chain Management (MASHOM) is a project based part-time executive program created exclusively for humanitarian organizations. It seeks to complement and enhance the knowledge base and practical skills of humanitarian practitioners. MASHOM is a partnership among International Organization for Migration (IOM), Kuehne Foundation (KF) and Universita della Svizzera italiana (USI).
Executive Master of Science in Communications Management (EMScom)
EMScom is a part-time program designed for experienced communication professionals. With an academic staff of over 30 professors from renowned institutions around the world, the program is well known for its academic excellence and multinational orientation. EMScom cooperates with the UCLA Anderson School of Management and is held in conjunction with Singapore Management University giving participants a unique opportunity to study side by side with Asian colleagues. Sessions take place every other month and are easily combined with the demands of a career. Courses are taught in English.
Master of Advanced Studies in Intercultural Communication (MIC)
The Executive Master in Intercultural Communication is designed to equip students with the tools to handle the challenges and opportunities of multiculturalism. Theoretical instruction is integrated with an intercultural laboratory, where participants apply methodological bases to projects and specific experiences. Courses are taught in English and French.
