Executive Masters at the University of Lugano

The University of Lugano (USI) currently runs seven Executive Master programmes in highly relevant professional fields; specialized, international in scope, taught by top-quality faculty, they are designed to meet the needs of experienced professionals in an increasingly global society. Good relationships with faculty members, easy to establish in the friendly USI environment, allow keeping up to date on the ever-evolving knowledge of specialized fields.

Executive Master in Healthcare Economics and Management (Net-MEGS)
As part of the Swiss School of Public Health (SSPH+) network, along with other five Swiss universities, this programme aims at developing scientific, managerial and professional skills of people responsible for public health. Courses are taught in Italian.

Executive Master of Science in Communications Management (MScom)
With an academic staff of over 30 professors from renowned institutions around the world, MScom is recognized for its academic excellence and multinational orientation. MScom cooperates with the Copenhagen Business School on program content and joint sessions, including a summer session at UCLA Anderson School of Management (Los Angeles), one of the world's leading business schools. Courses are taught in English.

Executive Master in Education Management (MaGF)
The Master programme facilitates the acquisition of knowledge and skills for the successful management of educational institutions. Courses are taught in Italian.

Master of Advanced Studies in Intercultural Communication (MIC)
The Executive Master in Intercultural Communication is designed to equip students with the tools to handle the challenges and opportunities of multiculturalism. Theoretical instruction is integrated with an intercultural laboratory, where participants apply methodological bases to projects and specific experiences. Courses are taught in English and French.

Master of Advanced Studies in Embedded Systems Design (ALaRI)
Professional programme providing a complete overview of the Embedded Systems Design themes in order to prepare, or to re-skill, the future team leaders of the field. Courses are taught in English.

Executive Master in Public Administration (EMAP)
Directed towards the managerial training of cantonal and local public administrators, the programme is focused on the modernisation of institutional and managerial practices. Being a partnership between several public management educational institutes in Switzerland, it is also open to Italian regional and local administrators. Courses are taught in Italian.

Master of Advanced Studies in Humanitarian Logistics and Management (MAS HLM)
The Master of Advanced Studies in Humanitarian Logistics and Management is a post-graduate course of study for professionals interested in the Humanitarian sector. Courses will be hosted by the University of Lugano and will be conducted in English over a maximum of 18 months. A international faculty of professors from institutions around the world will ensure the academic excellence of the programme and its international orientation.
