Biography:
Studi e dottorato in Matematica al Politecnico di Zurigo, periodi di ricerca a Vancouver e all’Istituto di Ricerche Matematiche del Politecnico di Zurigo. Dal 1981 è insegnante liceale, dal 1997 è attivo all’Accademia di architettura di Mendrisio. È autore di numerose pubblicazioni su temi della geometria differenziale, dei processi iterativi. Ha elaborato i testi (preprints) per i suoi corsi e numerosi manoscritti sui rapporti tra la matematica e l’architettura.

Graduated and completed a PhD in Mathematics from the Polytechnic of Zurich; spent periods for research at Vancouver and the Institute for Mathematical Research at the Zurich Polytechnic. Since 1981 he has been a high school teacher; since 1997 he has worked at the Mendrisio Academy of Architecture. He is the author of numerous publications on topics in differential geometry and iterative processes. He has developed texts (preprints) for his courses and numerous manuscripts on the relationships between mathematics and architecture.
