Graduated in 2006 in Foreign Languages and Literature at the University of Bologna, Italy, with a dissertation focused on the linguistic and anthropological facets in the transmission of the ancestral knowledge to the Mapuche children in Southern Chile.
After graduation she has been working in well-known international companies operating in the web field, while dreaming about going back to University and the Educational field.
She has also always been active on charity groups and associations (AGESCI - Italian Catholic Scout Movement), organizing activities to help the homeless, disabled people, children and teenagers.
Since January 2010, she is firstly collaborator, than PhD Student at the NewMinE Lab, where she was initially working on the project Picture. She is now doing her PhD research on the ICT4D field and she is working on the project RE-ACT.
