CORe is a newly created research centre entirely supported by outside funding, in particular with grants from the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) and from the European Science Foundation (ESF). CORe is directed by Professor Alessandro Lomi and draws on the contribution of a number of researchers and doctoral students, as well as on an excellent network of international partners. With first-rate research projects, the well-honed skills of its members, and its expected future development, CORe aims to become one of Europe´s leading centres for the study of organization theories and in-depth investigations into the mechanisms of economic organisations.
