Do you want to know more about the University of Lugano (Università della Svizzera italiana, USI) and its study curricula ? Hereafter we introduce you to the different ways you can meet the Team from the Advisory Service and discover the University of Lugano. We are looking forward to meeting you!

As soon as you have chosen your preferred appointment, please register by writing an email to orientamento@usi.ch specifying what event you are registering for, and which bachelor or master degree course you are interested in. Details about the various venues and the precise schedule of each event will be available on this site, shortly before the event.

Presentations related to studies in architecture are held on the Mendrisio Campus, whereas presentations of studies in Communication, Economics or Informatics are held in Lugano.

Bachelor Info Days

Are you curious to know the contents, the structure and future prospects of our Bachelor degree courses in Architecture, Communication, Economics and Informatics? Join us on our Bachelor Info Days. Each Faculty will present its study curriculum and you will meet professors and students whom you can ask plenty of questions. Some graduates will present their current study or professional occupation in order for you to familiarize with possible professional outlooks. Bachelor Info Days are open to students, parents, teachers, advisory personnel and any other curious person.

Ministages

  • 11-12 March 2010, from 9.00 am on (Economics, Communication, Informatics)
  • 11 March 2010, from 11.00 am on and 12 March 2010, from 9.00 am on (Architecture)

Do you feel like experiencing USI's student life and tasting some Bachelor study subjects from inside? To spend two exciting days as if you were a real USI student, register for our Ministages. High school students are immerged in the daily USI business and follow lectures from the Bachelor of their interest together with current students. Ministages represent an excellent opportunity to exchange opinions and experiences with actual USI students, to get answers to a whole range of practical questions and to get familiar with the life on Campus. And of course you can feel the degree to which the contents of your future studies interest you and thus can consolidate your study choice. USI is glad to offer lunch and dinner to all participants and offers the overnight stay for participants coming from outside Ticino and Lombardia. Registration is compulsory and the number of participants is limited. We are looking forward to meeting you!

Master Info Day

Are you close to choosing your Master degree course and still want to gather details about its structure, content and professional prospective? Join our Master Info Day to get these and more information. Participants obtain a general view on USI’s Master offer. Each Master is presented by its scientific director and by current Master students. The institutional part is thus enriched by testimonials, and visitors get a complete picture of their preferred of specialization. An apero concludes the Day and allows for informal chatting. In May, USI opens its doors to prospective Master students to follow lectures and participate in a campus tour. In addition, an information session is foreseen to further illustrate the structure and organization of the Master of interest. Registration is compulsory.
