Biografia:
Thomas Bieger has been full professor of Business Administration with specialisation in Tourism since 1999 and head of the Institute for public services and tourism at the University of St. Gallen. He is Secretary General of the AIEST (International Association of scientific experts in Tourism) and Vice President Academic of CEMS (Community of European Management Schools). He held several guest Professorships at the University of Innsbruck and the Wirtschafts Universität Wien. He also taught at the Simon Fraser University, Vancouver and the Universita della Svizzera Italiana, Lugano. From 2003 until 2005 he served as a Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of St. Gallen. In 2005 he became Deputy Rector of the University of St. Gallen.
