Biografia:
Biography: Daniela De Filippo was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in 1973. She has studied communication sciences at the Quilmes University in Argentina (1992-1997). In 1999 she studied the Master in Culture and Communication in Science and Technology (University of Salamanca) and then she has continued her specialization in Social Studies of Sciences at the University of Quilmes. Between 2003 and 2008 she developed the doctorate in Library Sciences at the University Carlos III of Madrid (Spain) with a doctoral Thesis related with bibliometric indicators. Between 1998 and 2003 she worked at the Istitute of Social Studies of Science at the University of Quilmes as junior researcher developing research project in the field of sociology of sciences and indicators in S&T. In 2003 she started to work at the Spanish Research Council as member of the bibliometric team at the Institute of Documental Studies on Science and Technology. Since 2009 she works in the area "Management and Performance of Research and Higher Education Institutions" at CORe, Faculty of Economics, USI. Her main research interests include bibliometric indicators and institutional evaluation.
