Manuela Barreca, is a PhD. Student and researcher in the Faculty of Economics at the Universitá della Svizzera italiana (USI, Lugano) with research focus in cultural management, interested in analyzing the establishment of networks and districts in local territories from cultural sector and creative industries perspective. She obtained a Bachelor Degree in Economics, Major in Tourism at the University of Bologna (Campus Rimini) and a Master of Art in Economics and Communication, Major in International Tourism, at USI. She is working at the Institute IdEP as teaching-assistant in 2 courses at master level: Cultural Management and Management and innovation in PA and no profit and at bachelor level Management Pubblico. She is also active involved in the public management area collaborating at different projects about territorial development in Ticino and abroad. Currently, she is spending a research time in Aix En Provence in the Institute of Public Management and Territorial Governance (IMPGT) of the Aix Marseille Universitè, working in a project about the establishment of Music System in Europe.
