This tour will explore one of the wildest mountain valleys in Ticino: the Verzasca. We will visit the Verzasca Dam, one of the highest dams in Europe and known for its 220m high bungee jump (one of the highest jumps in the world). The Dam was used in the James Bond film “GoldenEye.” We will continue to Sonogno, with its stone houses and a beautiful museum. The last stop on the way back will be Corippo, the smallest municipality in Switzerland with only 12 inhabitants (census 2018). Corippo's architectural value has caused the entire village centre to be placed under a conservation order. Furthermore, a project to turn Corippo into a "scattered hotel" started in May 2020.
