"Ticino's economic complexity", the seventh report published by the USI Observatory for Economic Dynamics (O-De, Institute for Economic Research), shows high values in terms of the economic competitiveness of the Canton Ticino.

The study adopts for the first time an innovative model for measuring competitiveness that takes into account qualitative elements which, combined with traditional approaches, show how the level of economic complexity in the inter-cantonal comparison places Ticino right behind the Cantons of Zurich, Zug, Geneva and Basel-city only.
