Professor Andrea Balbo of the Institute of Italian Studies, proposes a talk (in Italian) on the sense of time, encouraging the audience to take a step back and listen to the voice of the Ancients.

Lucio Anneo Seneca (4 B.C.-65 A.D.) is one of the key figures on the Latin philosophical and literary scene. The subject of time is essential in his thought and, at the same time, it represents one of the fundamental questions to be explored in the "age of the coronavirus". The video offers some reflections starting from letter 1 Ad Lucilium.
