Behing the scenes in the vaccination competition

Where are we in the progress of a vaccine against Covid-19? How does a vaccination actually work? What quality criteria must a vaccine meet? Given the current pandemic, these questions are pervasive - yet the links are often unclear. In this session, you will discover the medical basis of vaccination and learn more about the vaccination research being conducted at ETH Zurich.

The burning questions on Covid-19 vaccination

Who has priority in the distribution of a possible vaccination against COVID-19? Are we entitled to accelerate the approval process for potential vaccines - and what does that mean? Should we get vaccinated against the flu this winter? This session will discuss the burning and socially relevant issues that arise in the context of the current pandemic. This will be followed by a round table discussion and the possibility to ask questions via online chat.
