The independent student newspaper "L'universo" changes format and becomes a weekly publication

L'universo is the independent student newspaper featured in the Corriere del Ticino and related to the homonymous student association. From today it will be published weekly in Thursday's edition and incorporated in the newspaper. A section dedicated to the work of students will soon be available on the website www.cdt.ch.

The director of L'universo Antonio Paolillo comments on this change in his editorial: "This academic year brings about significant changes: L'universo changes its format. It will no longer be a monthly feature. It will be published weekly in Thursday's edition of Corriere del Ticino. A gigantic step forward aimed at offering a more professional experience to the students who are part of the editorial staff. There will be many challenges ahead: a weekly issue, the constant updating of the online section (integrated on the cdt.ch website), keeping up with the high standards of Corriere del Ticino editorial staff and, at the same time, meeting the countless university commitments. We will face them all with determination and the desire to emerge that have always distinguished us. With the beginning of October, therefore, L'universo will wear a different hat and reach in a certain degree its maturity, from cocoon to butterfly. A spring in autumn, thus disrupting for a moment the laws of nature: when everything begins to wither in view of winter, L'universo blooms and comes out of its summer hibernation."

Corriere del Ticino will deliver to USI about one hundred copies of each edition containing the page of L'universo, available for free to students at the designated distribution points.
