Moby Dick in the ocean of architectural design

For the awarding of the Swiss Architecture Prize, the Saturday morning show of Rete Due Moby Dick leaves the studios in Lugano-Besso to broadcast live from 10 am to 12 pm at USI Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio.

The Swiss Architecture Prize is organised every two years by the Academy, with the support of Fondazione Teatro dell'Architettura. Candidates from all over the world who have completed at least three projects are selected for the award. This year, the main representatives of the Confederation's architectural teaching institutions meet in Southern Switzerland and offer to the audience of Rete Due the opportunity to learn about the current styles and trends of the subject, both in classrooms and in small and large scale projects.

The show, hosted by Emanuela Burgazzoli and Alessandro Bertellotti, will feature there will be some members of the jury: the Academy of Architecture Director Riccardo Blumer, Christoph Girot, Director of DArch at ETH Zurich and Dieter Dietz, Director SAR - ENAC at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL).
