The final results of the study experience survey, conducted by USI, on the online study experience and the management of the autumn semester 2020-21 have been published. The data, gathered together with the feedback on the individual courses, show that most participating students are satisfied with the courses' organisation despite the situation related to the pandemic crisis.

Overall, 87.4% of the survey participants stated that they had attended at least 80% of the lectures and online activities.

Regarding the organisation of the courses, 79% considered it adequate (45%) or optimal (34%). 14.7% felt that it was sufficient, while the remaining 6.3% found it inadequate.

The results are substantially similar among the Faculties.

Professor Lorenzo Cantoni, Pro-Rector for Formation and Student's experience, is pleased with the results while stressing that it is not an optimal situation: "I am happy that the autumn semester courses have received very positive feedback from those who attended them. We are living in a challenging context, and everyone involved, students, faculty, and office staff, gave (and is giving) their all to achieve a positive learning experience. I hope, along with the students, that we will soon be able to return to the campuses, at least with a partial presence, so that we can enjoy the university experience even more fully."

As you know, courses for the spring semester began on 22 February 2021, under the motto "On-campus if and as much as possible, online when necessary" (federal authorities to date have extended the requirement to carry out teaching activities online until further notice).
