The Bites of Transfoodmation Dispute online conference will be held on Friday, 16 April 2021, from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm. The encounter is promoted by the Permanent Mission of Switzerland to the United Nations organisations in Rome, in collaboration with the Embassy of Switzerland in Italy, Istituto Svizzero, Università della Svizzera italiana (USI), Présence Suisse and other leading partners.

The Bites of Transfoodmation Dispute will be attended by entrepreneurs, politicians, researchers, representatives of civil society who will discuss, with a multidisciplinary and transgenerational approach, the future of Food Systems in relation to the Food System Summit called by the Director of the United Nations for autumn 2021.

Leading the conference will be the spokespersons of a group of young change-makers who have been working since October 2020 (using a methodology developed for the MEM Summer Summit) on the social, political, economic, environmental and cultural implications of food production and consumption to imagine new pathways to more sustainable and inclusive food systems.
