Date: 16 November 2021 / 17:00 - 19:15

Sala Aragonite, Manno

The Covid-19 pandemic set new priorities and accelerated the pace, changing the world of medical and scientific research. The race for vaccines has shown that innovation increasingly comes through collaboration between big pharma and tech startups. At the same time, there has been an increased awareness of the practical value of research. What will happen when the pandemic becomes just a memory? Is society ready to embrace this new
paradigm?

These are the topics that will be discussed during the 7th annual Platform for the discussion of excellence and sustainability of the health system, promoted and organised by Fondazione Epatocentro Ticino, in collaboration with Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale and Università della Svizzera italiana.
