Digitization, the growing attention to sustainability, the desired balance between profession and private life, new ways of working are economic and social evolutions that are reshaping our way of producing and consuming. The questions we ask ourselves today are: which ways of living and working will evolve in the future and how will they contribute to redesigning not only society and economy but also urban, suburban and public spaces in the coming decades? What are the challenges? These issues will be discussed at confronti 2021, the annual conference organised by the USI Institute for Economic Research (IRE).
