16 November 2021

The 2021 Speakers' Corner went into full swing in the context of Digital Day. After preparation with their mentors, students from USI, SUPSI and Franklin University presented their research and ideas on digital issues. The full video of the presentations is available at the bottom.

The event was curated and moderated by Giovanni Pellegri, Head of L'ideatorio USI, and Elena Marchiori, Scientific Collaborator of Lugano Living Lab. During the morning, Lhayla Blendinger and Giorgia Blotti, digital communication specialists at RSI, Silvia Giordano and Luca Luceri of SUPSI, also spoke.

The project has been carried out by Lugano Living Lab in collaboration with L'ideatorio, the WeTube-RSI space and the three universities. Speakers' Corner is dedicated to enhancing the best theses, research, and field projects related to the themes of digitalisation and/or technological innovation conducted by bachelor, master and PhD candidates of USI-SUPSI-FUS. The Lugano Digital Day took place on 10 November in parallel with the Swiss Digital Day, promoted by digitalswitzerland throughout the country.

After taking advice from mentors during their presentations at LAC, this week, students will have the opportunity to record their videos in a professional studio (in RSI's WeTube space) followed by communication experts. Once finished, USI videos will be featured weekly in the USI Flash newsletter.
