Horizon Europe programmes tackles climate change, helps to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and boosts the EU’s competitiveness and growth. It facilitates collaboration and strengthens the impact of research and innovation in developing, supporting and implementing EU policies while tackling global challenges. It supports creating and better dispersing of excellent knowledge and technologies.
"Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society", aims at meeting EU goals and priorities regarding the enhancement of democratic governance and citizen participation. Furthermore, this programme promotes cultural heritage and responds to social, economic, technological and cultural transformations.
Eligibility
As a non-EU country, Switzerland has to negotiate the association to Horizon Europe. Currently, Switzerland has the status of a third country. For collaborative research projects (RIAs and IAs) open to third country participation, Swiss entities can participate as associated partners from a third country. If these are successfully evaluated, the participant from Switzerland will receive funding from the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation.
