Imagine being able to change your outfit for online meetings without actually changing your clothes and saving resources at the same time. During the pandemic, we became more aware of our excessive consumption and the importance of sustainability. However, even while working from home, we felt pressure to look good and bright. People thus started using digital filters that, according to a Swiss study, look unrealistic and very unprofessional. To solve these problems and bring something new to video conferencing, USI students Alexandra Sidorova, Asmen Pablo Koc, Shiny Yadav, Andrea Yuric, and Felicitas Thieme pitched "Digital Triplets": a possible collaboration between Microsoft Teams and luxury fashion brands that can be useful for both professionals and fashion lovers.

The 2nd Speakers' Corner project was held in 2021 at LAC Lugano during the Swiss Digital Days. In this series of short videos, students talk about the projects they developed for the event. Speakers' Corner is a project promoted by the City of Lugano and the urban laboratory Lugano Living Lab. USI took part in the event, together with other universities in Southern Switzerland. The initiative stems from the desire to promote concrete projects to raise awareness of digital issues by enhancing the skills in the region.
