USI Research and Transfer Service (SRIT), in collaboration with the Pro-Rector for Research Prof. Patrick Gagliardini, is organizing an event dedicated to Open Research Data, open to the whole USI academic community.

The event aims to deepen some aspects that in recent years have become central in the public discourse concerning Open Science. Practices dedicated to Open Research Data are increasingly becoming an integral part of the daily activities of researchers around the world.

The event will have a mixed structure, with plenary sessions as well as parallel working groups which will be dedicated to four major ORD-related themes (Data sharing, Young researchers training, Metadata principles and practices, Data storage and long-term data preservation) and will be moderated by internal and external experts in the field.

The half-day event will be held on Thursday 15th September, from 9am to 1pm, at USI Startup Centre (Campus Est).
