International Master in Sleep Medicine

Registration is now open for the next MAS in Sleep Medicine (60 ECTS) offered by the Academy of Sleep and Consciousness (ASC) in collaboration with the Università della Svizzera italiana and the University of Bern. The International Master's in Sleep Medicine is a postgraduate master's program on sleep-wake-circadian physiology, consciousness and related disorders. It is a unique continuing education which provides advanced medical and scientific insights into sleep physiology, chronobiology and sleep medicine.
An international team of specialist lecturers ensure that course subject matter is on the latest scientific knowledge. The course offers a variety of efficient learning methods, such as online lectures, interactive live webinars and online Q&A live sessions. Practical experience is gained during a 2-4 week internship at one of our 13 partner universities.
This is an online program with two in-person seminars such as the Sleep Medicine Summer School taking place in Lugano/Switzerland on July 10-14, 2023 and the Sleep Science Winter School taking place beginning of 2024 (exact date and location tba). Students that are not able to travel can join the seminars online.
The official language of instruction is English.
Courses are held every two years, with the next start date scheduled for May 2023.
