The Walder Foundation supports groundbreaking projects in the area of applied research.
Eligibility
Support to:
- Innovative projects
- Applied research focusing on new insights and practical solutions for life in old age.
Award criteria:
- Emphasis on fresh ideas, novel approaches, creative applications, and advancements of existing concepts and projects.
- Expertise and networking capabilities of individuals or organizations involved.
- Practical feasibility of research projects, including potential for rapid implementation, scalability, and sustainable funding.
Duration and funding
A grant agreement is concluded for grants of more than CHF 30,000.
Not funded:
- Basic equipment for homes or institutions.
- Operational expenses for regular functioning.
- Individual assistance or support.
- Research lacking practical relevance.
- Medical research.
- Political projects.
- For-profit companies.
