The Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) commissioned the HES-SO as the Leading House (LH) for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The countries of the MENA region eligible for this call are: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Occupied Palestinian territory, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Yemen.
The call for projects "Consolidation Grants" aims to encourage more projects between Switzerland and the MENA region.
Eligibility
The call is open to all disciplines, to researchers coming from Swiss universities. The PI must be based in Switzerland, hold a position at least until the end of the project and have at least 3 years of experience.
Funding and duration
The max amount is CHF 40.000 and the project duration is up to 18 months.
