The SNSF project funding scheme funds qualified researchers to conduct their own research project in any field. Topic and goals are freely defined by the researchers, who can apply for funding of research costs and staff salaries, as well as of scientific cooperation, networking and communication. The grant does not cover the applicants’ own salary.
Researchers are encouraged to prepare and submit 4-years projects.
