The Bachelor in Communication is a three-year course of theoretical studies combined with a series of practical tools for the understanding and managing communication and its political, economic and socio-cultural implications. To obtain the diploma in Communication, students must earn 180 ECTS, choosing one of the three following specialisations:

Students will be asked to choose their specialisation within two weeks of the start of the first semester courses (for the academic year 2023/2024 by October 2nd, 2023). Information sessions with the specialisations responsible will accompany the choice.

The courses are taught in Italian, with several courses given in English, especially from the third year.

Overall, the programme has a few unique features:

  • Courses that provide solid basic theoretical knowledge of communication sciences.
  • Courses, in the way of skills, provide applicable tools and are spendable both during the course and in the world of work.
  • Focus on languages. The programme is in Italian with various courses in English, especially from the third year. An English language level equal to advanced B2 is required (courses are offered to make up this training debt and acquire internationally recognized certificates). The specialization "Culture and Communication Technologies" includes compulsory skills in French or German. Other language courses are offered optionally for interested students.
  • Various training methods and opportunities: traditional ex-cathedra lessons, workshops, seminars, individual and group work, company visits and other teaching methods are part of the course.
  • Optional international exchanges with other universities: especially in the fifth semester, students can spend a semester on mobility at prestigious partner universities.
