Academic career development
The number of USI women professors (associate and full professors) increased from 2.6% in 2005 to 18.7% in 2021 (the national average is 26.5%).
The USI Action plan for equal opportunities 2021-2024 aims to continue to provide incentives and support for USI women researchers, with the intent to reduce the waste of women's talents and vertical segregation.
InfoDesk, the platform with practical information for the USI community, contains useful information on:
- Academic Mentoring and Shadowing for women doctoral students and post-doc researchers;
- Workshop on the topic of university and equal opportunities.
