Equality in language

The way we use language and other forms of communications such as images, has a great impact on how society is changing. USI intends to promote a progressive elimination of discriminatory uses of the language and at the same time give greater visibility to the female members of the academic community.

Starting from the study Gender, language and institutional communication, commissioned by USI to the Institute of Argumentation, linguistic and semiotic (IALS) (prof. Sara Greca and PhS Marta Zampa), the Equal Opportunity Service has drawn communication guidelines for a respectful genre interaction in cooperation with the Institutional Communication Service.

The guidelines are currently available only in Italian amd can be found on InfoDesk, the portal of practical information for the academic community, at this page.
