Servizio relazioni internazionali e mobilità

17 Dicembre 2019

This article is written in 4 different languages, in line with the Movetia Annual Higher Education Event and with Switzerland’s multilingualism.

Allegra!

The day continued with the Annual Higher Education Event organized by Movetia. Centred on national, European and worldwide mobility and cooperation in the field of education, a number of international speakers shared their experience and expertise on topics such as innovative technologies, digitalisation, globalisation and success factor for internationalisation strategy.

An interesting project was also presented: CHARM-EU, which will be part of the first “European universities” alliance.

“European universities are transnational alliances of higher education institutions from across the EU that share a long-term strategy and promote European values and identity. The initiative is designed to significantly strengthen mobility of students and staff, and foster the quality, inclusiveness and competitiveness of European higher education.” (source: https://ec.europa.eu/commission/presscorner/detail/en/IP_19_3389

During the second day, delegates could also attend a workshop of their choice, among the four offered:

  • Grenzenlos mobil?

Again, these workshops brought to the table relevant topics in the field of internationalisation and encouraged the attendees to work in groups, discuss and come up with new ideas and creative solutions.

The presentations are available on the Movetia website:

We would like to thank Movetia for organizing this valuable and thought-provoking day, and we hope that attendees have enjoyed their time in Ticino, despite the unwelcoming weather (…. um Klichees zu brechen, wo ist die Sonnenstube gegangen?)
