Under the SNSF project funding scheme, qualified researchers define their research themes and objectives themselves and conduct their project under their own responsibility.
Eligible applicants are experienced researchers employed at least at 50% for the duration of the project who have a good track record and are in the position to perform independent research.
Researchers can apply for funding of research costs and staff salaries, as well as of scientific cooperation, networking and communication.
