Servizio relazioni internazionali e mobilità

16 Dicembre 2020

On Thursday 3 December, the International Relations Commission met for the 6th time. The topics discussed mainly revolved around the projects for the coming years.

In particular, the service had the opportunity to update the commission on the bilateral meetings between the Service and the directors of the study programmes that started in Spring (here the full October news). The Service presented the main results of the survey, the next actions as well as the projects that have already started following the meetings.

It was also the occasion to present the projects that the Service identified for the period 2021-2024. They have been well received by the members of the commission:

  • Scholars at Risk and student with refugee status, an inclusion programme for academics at risk or for students with refugee status, supporting them in their integration.
  • USI Global, a certificate of intercultural/soft skills acquired if specific activities are carried out.
  • Green mobility, a project to raise awareness among mobility students to reduce their carbon footprint. Incentives or other actions will be developed to motivate students to use greener means of transportation.
  • Mobility-online, a software to better manage mobility in preparation for the Erasmus Without Papers. The service is currently preparing to kick-off the project in January 2021.

We thank the Rector and all members of the International Relations Commission for their participation and active engagement.
