Volunteerism can transform the pace and nature of development, and it benefits both society at large and the individual volunteer. UNV contributes to peace and development by advocating for volunteerism globally, encouraging partners to integrate volunteerism into development programming, and mobilizing volunteers.

cinfo is the Swiss Centre of Competence for Careers in International Cooperation. cinfo connects employers with young and experienced professionals interested in taking action for a better,    fairer world. If you are interested in starting a career with the United Nations or International Financial Institutions, cinfo can support you. A special support is offered to Swiss nationals who want to join one of the 19 cinfo's focus organisations, among them UNV. Furthermore, cinfo recruits each year up to 30 UN Youth Volunteers on behalf of the Swiss government.
