John Marenbon

I am a Senior Research Fellow at Trinity College, Cambridge and Honorary Professor of Medieval Philosophy in the University of Cambridge, as well as Visiting Professor at the University of Italian Switzerland. I work on many areas of the philosophy of the Long Middle Ages. My recent books include Pagans and Philosophers. The Problem of Paganism from Augustine to Leibniz (Princeton University Press, 2015) and A Very Short Introduction to Medieval Philosophy (OUP, 2016).

Anna Marmodoro

I am Full Professor of Philosophy at the University of Durham in the UK, where I hold the Chair of Metaphysics. I am concomitantly an Associate Faculty Member of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Oxford, where I was based for over a decade before taking up the Chair at Durham in 2016. My main research areas are analytic metaphysics; ancient, late antiquity and medieval philosophy;  philosophy of science; and philosophy of religion. I have published monographs, edited volumes, journal articles and book chapters in all my areas of interest. My latest is Forms and Structure in Plato’s Metaphysics in press with OUP, 2022. I have led multidisciplinary research projects since 2008, with funding from the European Research Council, the Templeton World Charity Foundation, the British Academy, the Leverhulme Trust, the Arts and Humanities Research Council, etc. I am also co-founder and co-editor of the peer-reviewed journal Dialogoi. Suf Amichay

I am a Ph.D. student at Trinity College, Cambridge. I am working on the development and transmission of concepts of matter and modalities in Arabic, Hebrew, and Latin in the middle ages. My background is in the history and philosophy of science, and more specifically in Aristotelian natural philosophy.

Paolo Gigli

Academic Coordinator

Paolo is PhD student at the Université de Genève under the supervision of Prof. Paolo Crivelli, and PhD assistant at the Università della Svizzera italiana. His PhD thesis deals with the metaphysics of change in Plato's eleatic dialogues. Besides ancient philosophy, he is also interested in issues in logic and contemporary metaphysics.
