We are pleased to announce that the third edition of the "Giornata Cantonale delle Startup" will take place on Thursday 28 March 2024. This annual event is dedicated to facilitating the interaction between local startups and potential investors and is organised by the Department of Finance and Economics (DFE) in collaboration with the Agire Foundation and with the participation and support of other partners from the regional innovation ecosystem.
In this edition the specific theme will be the gender gap in the startup world and how we can move to break down this dividing wall in support of female entrepreneurs.
From the speech by Patricia M.Montesinos (Fe+Male Think Thank) on the role that prejudice plays in investments and its impact on entrepreneurship to the round table on investment opportunities linked to female-led startups, the event will be an opportunity to hear directly from different stakeholders: from investors to founders.
During the intervals, participants will listen to the startup pitches, introduced by the Agire Foundation, and have the opportunity to visit the startup stands.
