Introduction to R for data visualization
This module will first cover the basics of the R programming language and how to import, prepare, merge and clean data with R. Next, the principles of data visualizing will be introduced. Practical exercises (from creating line chart , bar charts etc to customising plots using theme adding labels , adjusting axis scale, etc ) will be show using the famous ‘ggplot2’ package.

I am enthusiastic about applications of mathematics to data and passionate about teaching. I also want to share my recent experience with data visualization projects: I found myself surrounded by "raw" data and had to learn about data munging, and how to transform it.
Nour Elhouda Oueslati has a BA in applied mathematics and is currently a student in the USI Fintech Master.
