A selection of images in high definition related to USI are available in the image bank of the University. The images can be downloaded and used free, for non-commercial purposes, by mentioning the source ("Università della Svizzera italiana" or "USI University, Switzerland").

Logotype

The logo of Università della Svizzera italiana includes the acronym of the University, USI, written in a circlular form with transparent characters on a black background. The logo - described here - is the backbone of the new USI graphic design.

 

Use of the logo

The use of the USI logotype is restricted and is subject to defined rules.

  • USI staff (academic and administrative) are entitled to use the logo for their institutional activities at USI. The logo, in its various formats and the guidelines for its use are available at the USI Desk, the portal with practical information for the academic community, at this page.
  • For non-USI staff, the use of the logo is subject to approval by the University. All such requests shall be sent to the USI Institutional Communication Service ([email protected], +41 58 666 47 92), specifying the planned use of the logo.

The unauthorized use of the logo of Università della Svizzera italiana is punishable by law.
