Go West - A cup of hot chocolate to wish everyone happy holidays

The new East campus at Lugano-Viganello, across the Cassarate River, will open its doors in 2020. The campus at Lugano via Buffi will then become West campus. As Christmas time approaches, the USI community is invited on Wednesday, 4 December from 5:15 pm at the “West campus” open space under the cafeteria, to celebrate, spread the cheer and wish everyone a 2020 full of bright beginnings.
The theme of the event is “Go West” and it will play around – in an innocent and non-pretentious way – with the collective imaginary of the “West”. Hot drinks and snacks will be served, and fun activities are in store to help sit back and chat. Students, professors, lecturers and staff are welcome.
“Go West" is promoted by the Pro-Rector for Education and Students’ Experience, and organised by the Sport Service in collaboration with a number of student associations.
To keep the party going, at 8.30pm, aiming a bit more West to the Oops bar, the band Scraps will be performing, featuring our Rector.
