The countdown is on for #startuppers, the reality show with real characters, real startups, and real stories, which sees USI Litorale as the preferred filming location and where the third mission of USI is realised. In fact, many scenes were shot in the USI spaces at the Maghetti district, in the heart of the City of Lugano, thus representing a very innovative and very unusual television format for a University, on which, among other things, those who know about television have placed their bets. Produced by Radiotelevisione Svizzera (RSI, the Italian-language channel of the Swiss national broadcaster) from an idea and subject by Roberto Manzi, researcher and Business Coach at the USI Start-Up Promotion Centre (CP Start-Up), the web series was realised by Maura Lanfranconi Benazzo and Gianluca Simone, Executive Producers at Multimedia Dynamic Group, for RSI and Università della Svizzera italiana.

#startuppers, which will be released in spring, suggests a highly original perspective and narrates the adventures of young entrepreneurs through the eyes of university students. Adopting a fresh filmmaking style with a light narrative approach, the students and startuppers exchange views and discuss challenges, successes, and difficulties – but always in a meaningful way, with high standards of content and the stylistic figure. While waiting to see it online (and on tv), a few backstage moments will be aired during the launch campaign scheduled in the upcoming weeks. So, stay tuned for #startuppers…coming soon!
