The 2021 summer session exams at USI will also be held online. Uncertainty due to the Covid-19 pandemic has forced a completely remote start to the Spring semester. It is still uncertain if and how it will be possible to return to in-person lectures and activities. For these reasons, it is deemed appropriate to decide that the standard exams method for the 2021 Summer session will be online.
The decision, taken by the USI Management Board on 22.03.2021, aims - as in the past exam sessions - to prevent the uncertainty of the scenarios related to the development of the pandemic and at the same time to guarantee fair treatment to all students.
How will the exams be carried out?
Exams for the 2021 summer session will generally be conducted online using the following methods: delivery, oral and quiz exam.
The students will sign an ad-hoc document, in which they commit to taking the exams with honesty and without resorting to any illicit means, allowing the possibility of proctoring (video surveillance) during online written exams.
