Explore the main themes of sustainability in one minute. In collaboration with USI's L'ideatorio, Caritas Ticino offers a series of short videos on the challenges of sustainable development. Joining us on this journey through knowledge is Giovanni Pellegri, Head of USI's L'ideatorio and professor of sustainable development at USI Faculty of Economics.

The theme of this episode is energy consumption and its impact on our planet. How much energy do catastrophic events such as the eruption of a volcano or a tsunami generate? How much energy does humanity consume? What will be the fate of this era that geologists call Anthropocene, also known as the human epoch?

At the moment, the project La Nave di Teseo provides a series of videos on sustainable development, which will be followed by another series that will focus on the sky, taking inspiration from the animations shown at the planetarium of L'ideatorio.
