Wiki Science Competition 2021

The second Wiki Science Competition, one of the largest international photographic competitions of scientific images, carried out thanks to the support of Wikimedia CH, will be held on Wednesday, 18 May 2022, at the West Campus Lugano Auditorium.
The award ceremony, open to the public, will be held in the USI Auditorium from 11 am to 12:45 pm.
Luca Gambardella, Pro-Rector for Innovation and Corporate Relations at USI, will open the ceremony. The speakers will be Jenny Ebermann, CEO of Wikimedia Switzerland, Ivo Kruusamägi, President of Wikimedia Estonia and founder of the Wiki Science Competition, Silvia Misiti, Director of the IBSA Foundation for Scientific Research and Andrea Emilio Rizzoli, Director of the IDSIA USI-SUPSI - Dalle Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence. Alessandro Marchetti, project coordinator in Switzerland, will present the winners.
